Job Description
Southern Highlands Private Hospital is currently establishing an in-house pharmacy dispensary to service the needs of hospital patients.
A unique opportunity exists for two Part Time Dispensary Technicians to be part of the Dispensary at Southern Highlands Private Hospital and contribute to the delivery of high quality & effective specialist clinical pharmacy practices. Individuals who can demonstrate proven experience in a dispensary technician role, a commitment to patient care, customer service, good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and energy are invited to apply. Previous experience in a hospital dispensary and a dispensary assistant certificate are preferred, but not essential.
The successful Applicant must meet the following criteria:
· Be Customer focused
· Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
· Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
· Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Experience with dispensary and inventory control systems
